My Journey With Sacred Perfumery
An embodiment practice rooted in mindfulness and self-care
Hello and welcome. My name is Allie Deglomine and I’m an intuitive perfumer and creator of Resonance Perfumery. I make custom botanical blends and perfumes designed uniquely for you.
Resonance Perfumery was born from a fascination with both the ancient art of perfumery and the mystical traditions of aromatic plants. I hone my craft using a diverse palette of aromatic oils and using multiple forms of energy developed through extended hours of meditation and training of my intuition. My exclusive approach in perfume creation is balanced by training in Clinical Aromatherapy, Natural Perfumery, and Intuition Medicine®.
For over a decade, I’ve been studying, observing and experiencing the power of aromatic plant medicine. Recognizing the inherent wisdom of these oils, I believe their energetic signatures have a distinct ability to resonate with the human soul and spirit. Central to this belief, I argue that our sense of smell and the ability to intuit the effects of smells is the most important sensory ability we have. Through inhalation and resonance with these oils, we come into alignment with our true nature, as they stimulate the area of our brain associated with the essence of our being - the seat of our soul and pathway to enlightenment, the area governed by our 6th and 7th chakras.
Ultimately, I am guided by a vision that empowers you to explore how the sensual parts of the natural world can aid in both individual and collective evolution.
Located just outside of Yosemite National Park, my home and studio are near the Sierra Foothill town of Mariposa, CA. You can usually find me tending my garden, where I take great pleasure in growing a variety of vegetables, flowers and herbs. What is not eaten is distilled in my alembic copper still, a modern-day homage to the ancient perfumers and their alchemical expertise. Inspired by their pursuit of converting the ordinary into the extraordinary, my mission unfolds as a contemporary alchemist, dedicated to the sacred process of crafting healing aromatic waters and oils from the garden to my home apothecary.
